What can I do to help employees cope with the stress of an investigation?
Depending on the outcome of the investigation, or the resolution of the complaint, the affected individuals may require education, training or even stress support.
If the two individuals have to work together, it is important that time is spent restoring their relationship and helping them work together. This can be achieved through education (on a group basis) and/or coaching.
If disciplinary action has been instigated, for either the complainant or the respondent, further remedial action may be required to minimise the impact on the team.
