What happens if either party is unhappy with the outcome?
There are a number of options available under different pieces of legislation to different third parties (so, for example, a claim for discriminatory dismissal can be taken to the Equality Tribunal with a right of appeal to the Labour Court; a claim for constructive dismissal can be taken to a Rights Commissioner or an Employment Appeals Tribunal).
