It is estimated that the hidden cost to the Irish economy as a result of bullying and harassment in the workplace is approximately €1 billion. This corresponds to estimates in the UK of anywhere between €15 and €30 billion.

Employees who are bullied are more likely to be depressed and anxious, to be less satisfied at work, to under-perform and want to quit.
